As part of their bid to join Hertfordshire County Council’s framework, Ei Projects turned to The Social Subby for a refresh of their branding and social media. The goal? To stand out in a competitive market with a brand that exudes approachability, proactivity, and a deep commitment to the environment, communities, and end users. Here's how The Social Subby helped reposition Ei Projects for success.

Ei Projects recognised the need to not only meet the technical requirements of Hertfordshire County Council’s framework but to also showcase their unique ethos. They envisioned a brand that reflected their values:

  • Friendly and approachable.

  • Proactive approach to project management.

  • Genuine commitment to sustainability and community care.

With these goals in mind, The Social Subby crafted a comprehensive strategy to bring their vision to life.

Refreshing the Brochure

The first step in Ei Projects’ brand refresh was updating their company brochure. The aim was to better reflect their evolution as socially and environmentally conscious building contractors. Our strategy preserved their contemporary brand identity while infusing a sense of personality that embodies their approachable and personal values as a family run business.

The priorities were highlighting:

  • Their strengths in new builds and refurbishments.

  • Their unique positioning in the public sector.

  • Their dedication to delivering high-quality, user-focused projects.

Social Subby infused the brochure with:

  • Modern design elements: Clean layouts, vibrant yet professional branded colours, and impactful imagery.

  • Focused Content: Content that reflected Ei Projects’ approachable nature and emphasised their environmental and social commitments.

  • Consistency: Aligning the brochure’s tone and visuals with their broader brand identity.

This refresh transformed their brochure into a powerful tool for engaging prospective clients and stakeholders.

Pre-Quality Questionnaire (PQQ)

Next, The Social Subby collaborated with Ei Projects to complete their Pre-Quality Questionnaire (PQQ) for submission to Hertfordshire County Council. This document required meticulous attention to detail and consistency in presenting their brand vision. Key contributions included:

  • Tailored responses: Highlighting Ei Projects’ expertise and alignment with the council’s values.

  • Visual cohesion: Ensuring the PQQ mirrored the style and tone of the refreshed brochure.

  • Clarity and professionalism: Making the document easy to navigate while maintaining an engaging narrative.

The result was a submission that not only met the council’s criteria but also reinforced Ei Projects’ image as a reliable and forward-thinking partner.

Social Media and Digital Content

With the help of our custom social media templates and content strategy plan, we continue to manage their social media, showcasing their approachability and setting themselves apart from corporate competitors.

This approach aimed to:

  • Showcase their projects and values to prospective clients.

  • Build trust and credibility through consistent messaging.

  • Highlight their proactive and community-oriented ethos.

In addition, The Social Subby worked on website blog posts and updates, ensuring that every digital touchpoint echoed the refreshed brand identity. This holistic approach solidified Ei Projects’ reputation across multiple channels.

Ready for the Future

By aligning their identity with their core values and aspirations, they have not only strengthened their position in the public sector but also laid the groundwork for continued growth and success. The Social Subby is proud to have been a part of this transformative journey, helping Ei Projects stand out and thrive in a competitive landscape.
